As with many of my necklaces, the gemstone chip is once again given centre stage. I love to use them in combination with other shapes of gemstones, as there irregularity always lend a lighthearted frivolity to any piece. Here, the classic double strand weave is given a fresh and fruity twist, with an ever so subtle hint of romantic nostalgia.

The delightful combination of amethyst, garnet and peridot is offset by the creamy cultured freshwater pearls, hinting of the tones often found in the Tudor designs of the past. To finish the piece, I've custom-set a lavender amethyst cabochon into a round sterling silver box clasp.

Surprisingly versatile, this necklace can be worn day or night for all occasions, or none.
