This amazing and most handsome bear, is hand carved by Native American Zuni carver, Jonathon Natewa. Jonathan lives on the reservation of Zuni, New Mexico, a place where no copies, fakes, imports or reproductions of any kind are allowed to be sold. This fantastic bear is carved from black marble, and stands about 2-1/4'' tall, 3-1/'' long, and measures about 7/8'' thick in average. The workmanship is stunning to say the least. All the lines you see are like scrimshaw and very intricate in detail. The 'bear' is the Zuni symbol representing strength. Truly an incredible piece of art to admire and cherish.
