This is a wonderful little plique-a-jour Mallard Duck Pin. The cannetille wire-work creates detailed scrolls and swirls in the wings. Plique-a-jour enamel in blue & green fill in the graceful wings and tail.

The setting is a gold-wash. The back of the pin reads 800 and a lozenge mark that is hard to read but I think it says 29GE. An Italian made brooch. In wonderful condition, the colors great and the definite white ring around the little Mallard's neck make him a real special little guy.

He is 1" x 1 3/8".
