The oval shaped amethyst stone at the center of this ring is bezel set and surrounded by detailed work on the silver. It has a hinged compartment and the shoulders have gold-tone accents.
It is a size 7. The inside band is marked 925.
The top of the ring measures 3/4". The hinge and latch are both in good condition. The amethyst stone is also in good shape.
I found this at an estate sale. Unknown age. Wonderful ring.
