La Pierre Sterling Silver Pierced Rim 8 1/2" Footed Bowl

A beautiful vintage sterling silver deep footed bowl by La Pierre. The bowl is 8 5/8" in diameter and stands 3 3/8" high. Gadroon detail on the rim and foot, and pierced detail around the inner rim. It is in excellent vintage condition with no dents or pitting; there is a small area along the foot edge--see photo on wood table top--where there is some wrinkling but this is hardly noticeable. Fabulous for serving or display, the foot is marked with the La Pierre Sterling mark as pictured. The bowl weighs approximately 11 oz on our postal scale.
