Italian Carved Giltwood Wall Sconces Pair

A beautiful pair of Italian carved & gilted wood wall sconces, each with two tole candle-arms & wooden cups. These are from the first half of the 1900s and in very fine condition, the gold is strong and there are no noticeable losses. They were newly wired to USA & have black gold drip candle covers. They can be mounted directly into the wall or hung as they are with long cords with plugs and on/off switches. Note that the carvings are mirrored ( opposite carved ) but the arms are identical ( one higher, one lower ). These are really nice quality and look fabulous one the wall ( they're hanging in my dining room until they go on the way to their new home).
