Very rare,very fine & very large. Coalbrookdale porcelain was so labor intense, the application of individual flowers and leaves took days for each item. This being so, most Coalbrookdale flower encrusted porcelain items you find are small. Due to the very delicate nature, almost without exception, there are losses to petals. Due to attrition, items that you do find for sale are very costly. This fabulous vase is a remarkable example, standing 12" tall and loaded with a multitude of flowers of so many types and colors both large and small. The applied florals are in unbelievably good condition with only small nips to a few tips. Hard to understand, but the area of restoration is on the handle and one side of the lip. Easy to forgive as the body & the flowers are in such wonderful condition. ( I have a personal collection of Coalbrookdale and not a single piece is perfect. ) Once you own a piece, you will become addicted. If you already are a collector, here's a great buy. 12" Tall
