What an amazing pendant this is! A handmade lamp work glass bead using an Italian technique to make it look ancient and weathered. The character is reminiscent of goddess figures found throughout the Middle East from before Christ. She is a sea goddess, judging from her tail! Below is a nicely matrixed yellow turquoise (more like black and white) with a small Swarovski crystal in Black Diamond above and below. I've hung her from two large bronze hammered chain links and wired the remaining components to it on sterling silver. From the pendant upwards we have: lampwork beads from the set with Rhodonite rounds, then Dragon Scale Agate in crackly black and white, then a Czech glass bead in cream and tan, Sinarin sterling silver from Thailand with Black Rainbow Obsidian rounds, then a torched brass chain link, Rhodochrosite tapered twist barrels with solid copper Bali style beads, another Dragon Scale Agate, another Rhodochrosite tapered bead component, another Czech bead, Rhodochrosite round with brass bead caps, another Czech glass bead, and then a Rhodonite smaller round near the sterling hammered toggle clasp. Length: 22" with the pendant dropping another 2 1/4". Matching earrings pictured below are listed separately.
