Our Service Pledge To You:
All items are vintage or stated as collectible and are described as accurately as possible by means of signature, research and other sources available. If a piece is unsigned we can not guarantee attribution completely, but be assured every effort has been made for accuracy. Unsigned items are clarified as such if attributed to a designer. All orders will be responded to within 24 hours or less if at all possible and honored on a first inquiry basis, even if by direct email while waiting for the shop to respond. No item will be sold that has a pending order while waiting for a response from us. All buyers will be treated in the same manner we wish to be treated in buying an item over the internet - what you see is what you will get, as described, in a timely manner and packaged well to get the item to you safely.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays a fixed shipping charge for each item as indicated in the listing. This charge covers USPS fees, packaging, insurance and delivery confirmation to assure the package was delivered to you unless otherwise stated. on the listing. We do our best not to make a profit on shipping and handling. If you pay by Paypal your item will only be shipped to a confirmed address, as required by Paypal and/or we are only responsible for delivery to the address you provided and as confirmed by the delivery confirmation. If making multiple purchases, please email this shop for a lowered combined shipping cost. If paying through Paypal with an e-check, your item will be shipped upon notification that your e-check has cleared and funds have been released.

If a total sales is under $100 and you do not wish to have your items insured, you must contact this shop via email to formally make a request.

Payment for items are expected to be received within 48 hours by Paypal or within 8 days by money order, this shop reserves the right to return the item for sale if payment is not received. Please email if there is a payment problem and an extension may be considered. All items are vintage and some very slight signs of wear may be detected in an excellent item. Every effort has been made to describe accurately any damages to the item, including discolored stones and more than very minor wear. Every item is inspected with a magnifier and/or a loupe prior to shipment. We cannot be responsible for glued in stones coming loose during shipment, although we have never had this happen, it is a possibility due to the vintage glue on some items. However, your shipment will be well packaged in order to prevent this remote possibility and lost stones. Be assured that this shop believes in "full disclosure" of any problems found with an item within the item description.
All purchase orders are honored subject to first inquiry being honored even if by email direct. International purchases are not able to be insured and the buyer takes on any risk of shipping damage and damaged items from shipping are not returnable.

Return Policy:

Full refunds, minus shipping, handling, delivery confirmation and insurance will be accepted if the item has been misrepresented through error without a restocking fee at seller's discretion. Requests for returns will be handled subject to Ruby Lane site wide terms and conditions relative to time limits and subject to restocking fee. All items must be returned in the original packaging and in the same condition as shipped to you.

Insurance Claims:

This shop purchases insurance on behalf of the buyer. Damage claims can only be made on items shipped with insurance. Please do not return damaged items to Vintage Jewelry Treasures, as doing so will void the shipping insurance. You should take the damaged item(s) to the the carrier the insurance was purchased from. We recommend that all shipments be insured. If a buyer requests in writing, that an item not be shipped insured we will not be responsible for loss or damage to that item during shipping.

To begin the process of filing an insurance claim, please contact Vintage Jewelry Treasures to advise us of the damage, we will then send you the original Insurance receipt so you can file your claim through the shipping agent. Guidelines for insurance claims vary by carrier so please check with the carrier for their specific instructions. Be sure to retain all the original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item(s), the shipping agent will request to examine them. We ship via the United States Postal Service, For information on filing a claim you may visit the United States Postal Services online website.

*International Policy
Payment must be received in US Funds Only. Minimum purchase for International shipping is $ 25.00 US.
We use USPS Global Priority Shipping for International shipping when available. This shop reserves the right to not ship to certain countries, please email prior to placing purchase order for this determination.
Please email your Name, Address, Country & Zip Code and method of payment prior to using the Paypal cart. This will help us provide you an exact shipping charge and prevent the need for an additional payment.
Payment can be made via Paypal or a USPS Postal Money Order [In US Funds].

Customs:
We do not falsify customs forms and appreciate your courtesy in not asking us to do so. An Invoice Is enclosed with all international orders.

Many items are from my personal collection and from a smoke free home. However, items are purchased from other parties in which it is unknown if the previous owner or establishment was smoke free and therefore this shop cannot guarantee the item being smoke free. If detected, we will do our best to appropriately clean the item prior to shipping.

Restocking Fee:
There is a restocking fee for all items returned of 20% up to $150 and 10% $150 and over,deduction of the purchase price as listed in addition to all shipping, handling, delivery confirmation and insurance costs both ways not being refunded. Items must be in original packaging and insured on return regardless if item was not insured to buyer from seller. Descriptions are as accurate as possible. The description details the condition of the items to the best knowledge of the seller, Seller may waive restocking fee based on reasons provided on an individual basis. All efforts are made to accurately portray the jewelry and buyers are requested to ask any questions concerning an item prior to placing a purchase order. Photos of the jewels are not "doctored" and it is up to the buyer to request additional photos to determine their decision to purchase.

Layaways are considered with 1/3 down for up to 3 months. There are no refunds or returns on layaways as we have held the item and absorbed the financial outlay for that period of time.

Prices on items and sale events are subject to change at any time. Prices of items, especially collectibles, increase in price according to demand.

All taxes and other legal obligations required by the state of the purchaser are the purchasers responsibility and not this internet only shop.

Repeat customers who sign up for our email notification will receive free shipping and /or discount opportunities periodically along with notification when substantial new listings are placed in the shop.
