Antique French Bakelite & Brass Sea Horse Brooch

Check this piece out closely, it is antique, it is actually French Bakelite & is stamped on the back Paris & has the old trombone catch. The sea horses are brass & also the frame. Great collectible piece & i have seen matching bracelets & dress clips to match these pieces. The pictures make the finish on the brass look worse than it really is.

ITEM MEASURES APPROX: 1 3/4" x 1 1/4"

ITEM CONDITION: Good condition & there are some really light surface scratches on the brass on the front & i did notice this also on the back side as well. Looks like it was made this way for has been polished a lot. Nothing major and i find all this consistent with normal wear for it's age.

I do not use the HOT PIN TEST, I test with Simichrome Polish, Hot Water & Scrubbing bubbles.
