Antique Mid-Victorian Period Brooch Engraved Bird Water Scene Wow

This is a remarkable antique piece which dates back to the mid-victorian period from 1860-1870. It has a lot of nice aged patina to the metal and appears to be some sort of silver material. I could not find any markings & i did not test it. It has a 3 dimensional design to it as you can see the bottom platform then another one raised & on top of that the engraved bird & water scene. The bird could be gold or possible gold-filled & i did not test them for that & if you buy the piece and it is the real thing then you will have gotten a nice surprise. It is light-weight in construcion & has the old c style clasp.

It is that warm glow that occurs & is natural aging on Antique or Vintage items & is very desirable on many pieces. I leave Jewelry as I find it so it is presented in it's natural state. If it needs cleaning & polishing or any minor repair I will tell you so you can do this yourself with confidence.
