This is an exceptional complete service for 8 plus many serving pieces. There are 102 pieces total. This set was purchased in 1947 by a lady with the initials MR while on a visit to Norway. (More details are available on the history of this set.) All pieces are marked David Anderson (logo) 830. Set is stored in its original tarnish proof lined two-tier wooden box. All of the pieces are in excellent condition. The box shows slight signs of its 60-year age. This would make a fabulous 25th silver anniversary gift. The pattern is still in production although not all pieces are available. The current price list from David Andersen indicates a $17.000 purchase price.
