The necklace is comprised of a variety of beautiful Tibetan beads of Turquoise surrounded by repousse bead caps, a mixture of Turquoise and Coral inlaid long beads and beautiful Mala (also referred to as prayer beads) set with Turquoise and Coral chips. There is a traditional Chinese Love Eternity Knot.

Some of these beads have traveled many continents and had numerous owners. Small chips, corrosion, and pitting are a normal part of their patina attesting to their age and extensive use. It is interesting to imagine how they have survived a hundred or more years of wear and travel. Just imagine who wore them in the past and the mystery associated with them.

Repousse is the art of embossing or pressing shapes into thin metal to create a design. This process has been used since ancient times to make everything from jewelry to religious Icons. Its almost a lost art nowadays.

The Turquoise and Coral long beads are 22mm. The Turquoise round bead is 16mm. The smaller Turquoise beads are 8mm. The Mala beads are 10mm. The total center drop is 2.5". The length of the necklace is 17.5".
