I believe this is a Vietnam Era STERLING SILVER Wings Pin ~ Badge that was worn by a US ARMY AIR FORCE FLIGHT SURGEON. Most likely this set of Vintage Air Force Wings was originally pinned to a military uniform shirt or possibly a leather flight jacket.

AUTHENTIC 1960's Airforce Wings are Quite Substantial - WEIGHING Over 29 Grams (just shy of 1 Troy Oz.) !! FINELY Detailed Flight Surgeon's Badge MEASURES ~ 3 Inches End to End (E-W), a Max. of 1 1/4 Inches N-S and ~ 1/4 Inch Thick. CRISP Surgical Wings are CLEARLY Marked on the Reverse 'STERLING' and '12 C'.

Vintage Wings Badge is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! Retains Pegs (2) for Clutch Backs. I have not cleaned ~ polished military pin & it displays "Toning".
