RARE Hobe Sterling TURTLE & Shell Pendant Necklace

I have owned Hobe jewelry before but never anything quite like this! I found this UNIQUE Turtle out in the Fingerlakes Region of New York State & was truly shocked when I saw that it was SIGNED by this well known Manufacturer.

GREAT Looking 3 Dimensional Silver & Genuine Shell TURTLE Pendant is NICELY Detailed. Sea Tortoise? appears to be 'cruising' along. He has has webbed feet, a pointy tail & his head is looking up. Vintage Sea Creature's "shell" is actually made of some sort of purplish shell & its under belly is iridescent Mother of Pearl.

SIGNED Hobe accessory is VERY life-like & Marked '925' on the underside of one foot and on a small oval silver plaque next to it "Sterling" and "Hobe" in script lettering. UNUSUAL piece of Turtle jewelry MEASURES 1 1/2 Inches from Head to Tail and ~ 1 Inch from Back Foot to Back Foot. The Shell rises ~ 1/4 Inch above the top of the bezel.

Swimming Turtle Charm ~ Pendant is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! Has not been polished recently & would be dazzling after a light cleaning. It will come to you on what may be its ORIGINAL 16 Inch Long Sterling Silver Pendant Chain - Clasp is also stamped "STERLING".
