Adorable Art Deco Sterling Silver Scotty Westie Dog Horseshoe Key Chain

I flipped when I came across this Vintage Silver Keychain... it has been many years since the last one & back then it took me a while to figure out exactly what it was! I can say with certainty is that what looks like a 2 Piece Charm was definitely designed to be a fully functional key ring.

I’m not sure exactly which breed this Highly Detailed & Substantial Vintage puppy dog is – a Scottie ~ Scottish Terrier (Skye?) or possibly a Westie ~ West Highland Terrier?

The Good Luck Horse Shoe at the opposite end is how the key chain part works. You slip the hole at the top of the key thru one end of the horseshoe & then the other and voila, it comes to rest on the link chain.

Chain is~ 2 1/4 Inches Long, Furry Dog MEASURES ~ 1 1/4 x 1 Inches and Retains its oxidized highlights that really show off its fur. The Reverse of the puppy charm is plain & has NEVER been engraved ~ personalized! Horseshoe is also NICELY Detailed with a groove and miniature 'nails' on each edge. It MEASURES ~ 7/8 x 3/4 Inches, the back side has no designs & is only Marked "STERLING" - nothing to indicate the QUALITY Silver jewelry ~ accessory. manufacturer.
