This is a wonderful old bracelet that was originally worn by a Camp Fire Girl who achieved the honor of "firemaker". Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet was made in the Arts & Crafts style.

The lettering is done in a style of the Tsimshian Alaskan Indians and spells out Wo He Lo, which represents the words Work, Health, Love - the Camp Fire Girls MOTTO. Vintage Campfire Girls jewelry is oval shape, MEASURES a Max of ~ 2 3/4 Inches across (interior), expands & is flexible - will open to 3 Inches across and is ~ 1/2 Inch N-S (7 Inches End to End).

Merit Award Bracelet WEIGHS Over 15 Grams (~ 1/2 Troy OZ), is CLEARLY Marked "STERLING" & a maker's Hallmark on the interior and is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! ...has not been cleaned ~ polished recently & displays oxidized accents & some old patina.
