This is one of the NICEST pieces of Retro Era jewelry I have come across. I believe the piece may have been a custom created design for a SPECIAL Birthday or Anniversary.

EXQUISITE 14K Yellow Gold & Platinum?, White Gold? Pin mounting is designed as Square Frame with 2 AMAZING Three Dimensional Flowers as the focal point. The Five Petal Flowers are tied together with a Ribbon at the corner. Accenting the Flowers are Genuine SAPPHIRES set in a 4 Prong mounting. In addition, there are petite White Gold (Platinum?) leaves at the top of each stem. If that wasn't enough, around the center of the ribbon (tied into a bow) is a band of platinum of white gold... set with 3 GENUINE Diamonds,

DRAMATIC Retro Era jewelry MEASURES ~ 2 x 2 1/4 Inches and Quite Substantial - WEIGHS ~ 20 Grams (Over 1/2 Troy Oz!). It is CLEARLY Marked "14K" on its Locking Clasp (thumb latch) and was hand engraved in block letters on the back of one of the flowers "LMH" and "47".

60 + Year Old Sapphire & Diamond Pin is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! It is just as i found it in a Utica, NY estate... has not been professionally polished & only under magnification, shows minute signs of TREASURED use.
