This is a GREAT example of a Late Victorian Era 10K Gold & Diamond LOVERS KNOT pin. Designed as 4 intertwined circles of tubular gold - the center of the pin has a 5 prong mounting set with a Sparkling GENUINE Diamond. The mine-cut stone MEASURES approx. 12-15 Points (1/8 th of a Carat +), which is quite large for a stick pin. The gemstone is white however, under 10 power magnification you can see some natural flaws & a teeny nick between 2 prongs.

ANTIQUE cravat ~ stickpin is Quite HEFTY (Weighs Over 3 Grams), MEASURES ~ 2 1/2 Inches Top to Btm., Head is ~ 1/2 Inch in Diameter... may have been used by a gentleman to secure his ascot. There are no markings to indicate which QUALITY Jewelry Manufacturer produced it or its precious metal content (common with American made Victorian Era jewelry). It has been professionally acid tested without filing & I GUARANTEE the head to be 10K GOLD... stick may be rolled gold.

C.1890 -1900 cravat ~ lapel pin is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! ... has not been professionally polished & retains OLD Patina that could be easily removed if so desired... retains a trace of its original high karat gold wash/finish. An age appropriate push-on clasp ~ nut will be included to safely secure this ANTIQUE Heirloom.
