This is a WONDERFUL Late 19th Century Pin. The workmanship on this Victorian Rose Gold (pale rosey color) Black Enamel & Seed Pearl Pin is AMAZING! Curved front has been worked by hand with several different jeweler's tools in addition to being hand engraved ~ chased. It has a hint of Aesthetic Movement design incorporated into the separate band of gold with a 'fringe' of collet set pearls across the center.

This band has black enameling however there is some loss but it truly is not noticeable except under magnification. ANTIQUE Rose Gold pin from the late 1800's is Round with a rolled edge & quite substantial for its size... WEIGHS ~ 5.3 Grams & MEASURES ~ 1 1/8 Inches in Diameter. Retains ORIGINAL Fully Functional Pin Stem that extends beyond the edge of the pin, Tubular Hinge, "C" Clasp AND Hook for your pocket watch, locket or favorite charm ~ pendant.

As with most Victorian jewelry made in the US, it is unmarked as to precious metal content. It has been professionally acid tested (without filing) & I GUARANTEE it to be SOLID 14K Gold.
