About Us
Both of my wonderful grandmothers handed down to me a love for all things made by hand; in addition, one of them loved jewelry. The more it sparkled, the better she liked it, and it didn't matter whether it came from a jewelry store, department store or an old "dime store". I have loved jewelry all my life. About 5 years ago, I decided to combine both of these passions into unique, handmade jewelry. I rapidly found there is a limit to how much jewelry one person can make and wear, and began looking for a place to sell these creations. My jewelry has previously been displayed at 2 Colorado galleries, and sold at an ongoing market in a beautiful local resort. I have learned from some great teachers.

"Shining Mountain" is the translation of the Ute Indian name for Pike's Peak. This soaring mountain dominates our skyline, and is a jewel that sparkles every bit as brightly as any piece my grandmother ever wore!
