I have one of these banana bowls in my kitchen bay window and change it with the season. It may hold anything from fruit (especially grapes) to pine, holly and glass beads for the holidays. These bowls are so much fun to work with and become a focal point of your table, counter, bookcase, hutch or even a bay window.

This is Fenton's milk glass hobnail banana bowl or boat. It is their #3720MI and was made from 1959-80. It stands on a ribbed stem/pedestal and has 11 rows of hobs, topped off with a crimped edge. It measures12 1/2" long x 6 1/2" tall and is in wonderful condition. (Since these boats are hand-formed, the measurements may vary from the stated dimensions.)
