I don't think anyone would argue that entrees cooked in the Presto Cooker are delicious with the flavors blending in the process. For one, a roast and veggies can't be beat when cooked in this manner. Not only do you win on the taste test, but you also save time and energy with the amount of time needed to produce a delicious meal. The pressure cooker is also a good way to utilize tough cuts of meat, as the process tenderizes beautifully. I noticed there are also recipes for wild game.

This recipe book is in very nice condition for its age. It contains 120 pages of recipes and instructions/hints. I will say one thing...it is amazing how much fat we have removed from our cuts of meat since the 1950s. The photos of roasts or ham slices which they show are not what we see today. Our cooking has improved in that area, at least.

The cover is a little stained from storage, but the pages are relatively clean. There is a paper clip on the last couple pages of technical info on the parts of the cooker, itself.

I can just taste the beef roast with onions, carrots and potatoes. Scrumptious.
