REDUCED Roseville Pottery "Peony" 7 1/2" Pitcher #1326-7 1/2

According to the Collector's Encyclopedia of Roseville Pottery, Vol. 2, by Huxford and Nickel (2006 values), pg. 154, this is Roseville's "Peony" pattern of the 1940s.

The lovely peony stands out against the blue/green background.

When I saw this pitcher (and mugs, which are also listed on Ruby Lane) across the room, I got so excited. I had never seen a pitcher and mug set in Peony before. However, there was a small chip beneath the spout lip. After some research on the Net, I found a reputable person who not only did professional repairs, but also taught others to do so, as well. Although it was pricey to repair, I couldn't let this piece stay that way, so I submitted it to her for professional repair. When it was returned, I couldn't believe it. I could not find where the chip had been. Only the photo I took before I submitted it told me the location. Even knowing that, I still couldn't find it. Excellent work, for sure. Check out the photo of the spout I have provided and see if you can tell where the repair was done. Great job.
