Well, 1931 was a time of tightening the belts, but was also a time of new inventions flooding the market. One of those just happened to have been the General Electric refrigerator. This cook book and helpful hints/suggestions went along with the refrigerator to teach you how to best use its features.
There are 103 pages and the cover is a heavy cardstock. The colored photos interspersed throughout show foods displayed on some of our favorite elegant glassware and pottery/china. There are also a couple brochures for Wards Cast Aluminum Cooking Utensils, touting their waterless cooking, which was becoming quite popular at that time.
The cover has some discoloration to it, but the pages are mostly clean. I noticed one bent corner, but the page is intact. A very interesting cookbook.
