If you want a good casserole dish for tuna and noodles or macaroni and cheese, this is it. I love the bowls which put a brown crust on the casserole to give it a little added flavor and use one like this all the time.

It is Hall China's Autumn Leaf French Baker in the 3 pint size. It measures 7 7/8 - 8" wide x 2 5/8" tall and is free of chip, cracks or crazing. The trim is nearly worn off from use (I told you it made great casseroles). It is marked on the base with the Jewel Homemakers' Institute - Mary Dunbar Superior mark. This Autumn Leaf French Baker was introduced in 1936 and they made this size until 1976.
