I am offering this lovely fruit bowl and underplate set which was imported by P.H. Leonard or perhaps by Anna Leonard. According to Ginni's Collector's Circle on Bohemian-Czechoslovakian China, "In, 1908 Anna Leonard, according to Rontgen, continued the business after it went bankrupt in 1908, and had porcelain decorating clubs in Denver, Colorado and Louisville, Kentucky. Additionally, 1909 to 1910 Anna had a professional china decorator and had a studio in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts."

The bowl measures 9 1/2" wide x 3" tall or 3 1/2" tall with the 11 3/4" plate in place. Both the plate and the bowl have scalloped rims with gold trim. There are no chips, cracks or crazing, but there is some wear to the gold trim.

The base is marked with Leonard, Vienna, Austria, as well as 1166/164, which I believe is the artist's mark

The design is of Bachelor Buttons with leaves and graceful stems. Lovely set.
