I don't have a date for this cookbook, but it appears to be from the 1950s. For one, the ads appear to be around that period of time and the phone numbers are two or three digits. It's always nice to have serving pieces with a holiday design to use for buffets or open houses. This lovely Winterberry handled oval serving bowl would be ideal for candies or small cookies. The handle can be removed when storing to save space and is then easily reattached. It measures 8 7/8" x 7 1/4" wide. The creamy background makes a perfect setting for the mistletoe and holly/berries and green leaves. It is subtle, but effective. The handle is in very fine language.

This lovely 6" covered jar is perfect for pieces of candy or to use as an accent on an end table or bookcase. In fact, I have the matching cracker or biscuit jar listed on Ruby Lane and the set is very impressive when displayed together. The Hobstar design is detailed and sharp. The Rubigold all but glows, it is so dramatic. The original price tag and Imperial stickers are still intact. I would guess this was part of the early reissue of the Hobstar pattern in the 1960-70s.
