Rosemeade Cock Pheasant Shaker

$22 USDRosemeade Cock Pheasant Shaker

Pottery:By Maker:Rosemeade Shakers
I am listing this pair of pheasant salt/pepper shakers but pricing only for the male pheasant. The hen has a broken beak and tail, but she can still be used as a placer until another hen is found. The mail measures 3 5/8" tail to beak and 3" tall. It is free of damage and has the original Rosemeade sticker on its breast.
Pfaltzgraff Winterwood Ornament Shaped Cookie Plate

$18 USDPfaltzgraff Winterwood Ornament Shaped Cookie Plate

Pottery:By Maker:18
This darling cookie plate or server is shaped like a Christmas ornament and perfect for serving small tidbits to your guests. It was made by Pfaltzgraff in their Winterwood line, which has a design of pine, berries and a sweet little Chickadee, which goes right along with Christmas, Christmast card designs and wrapping papers. They are so neat! The plate measures 10 3/4" long x 8 1/3" wide and is free of damage. It is marked on the base with the Pfaltzgraff logo.
Pfaltzgraff Winterberry Oval Handled Serving Bowl/Candy Bowl

$24 USDPfaltzgraff Winterberry Oval Handled Serving Bowl/Candy Bowl

Pottery:By Maker:Pfaltzgraff Winterberry
It's always nice to have serving pieces with a holiday design to use for buffets or open houses. This lovely Winterberry handled oval serving bowl would be ideal for candies or small cookies. The handle can be removed when storing to save space and is then easily reattached. It measures 8 7/8" x 7 1/4" wide. The creamy background makes a perfect setting for the mistletoe and holly/berries and green leaves. It is subtle, but effective. The handle is in very fine language.
Franciscan Duet Oval Serving Bowl - 1950s

$18 USDFranciscan Duet Oval Serving Bowl - 1950s

Pottery:By Maker:Franciscan Duet
How many times have you wished you had another serving bowl? Franciscan issued their Duet pattern in the 1950s and this is one of the early one, as it has the "TV" logo on the base with Franciscan Earthenware mark. It measures 8 1/4" long by 6 1/3" wide. There is no damage. You can always use an extra bowl.
Franciscan "Apple" 9 1/2" Luncheon Plate, 1949-53 Mark

$23 USDFranciscan "Apple" 9 1/2" Luncheon Plate, 1949-53 Mark

Pottery:Franciscan Apple
I am offering two groups of Franciscan "Apple" luncheon plates, because the marks are different and people like to buy certain periods of production for their Apple dinnerware. These plates measure 9 1/2" wide and are in very nice condition with a use mark here or there. They were originally owned by a couple with no children, so they were only used for their own holiday meals, but were mostly used for display. I find no chips or cracks. There are 3 available, but they are being priced per plate ...
REDUCED McCoy Burgundy and Gray Arcature Vase, 1951

$60 USD ReducedREDUCED McCoy Burgundy and Gray Arcature Vase, 1951

Pottery:Mccoy:Arcature
I had to look up arcature before I could write this description, and found it is a small arcade or covered path or nook. You can find this vase in the "McCoy Pottery" book by Craig Nissen, Margaret and Bob Hanson on page 220. This vase measures 9 3/16" x 6 1/8" x 2 3/4" and is free of chips or cracks. There is some crazing under the glaze, which is not uncommon. The bird in the arcature is burgundy and stands on a vining plant. There is a burgundy mark below the bird, which I noticed on other ...
Fiesta Bud Vase in Rose - Homer Laughlin, 1959

$75 USDFiesta Bud Vase in Rose - Homer Laughlin, 1959

Pottery:By Maker:Homer Laughlin Fiesta
This lovely Fiesta bud vase is in rose, I believe. I'm not real good with Fiesta colors. I would refer to it as pink, but that's just me. This bud vase was made by Homer Laughlin in the late 1950s and is still quite popular. It is the ideal size to grab when you need a small vase for a few flowers from the garden or flowerbed. Besides, it looks so sweet when on display. This lovely piece measures 6" tall and is free of damage. It is marked Fiesta U.S.A. on the base. I also have a medium green ...
REDUCED Metlox Blue Poppytrail Hen on Nest Casserole, 1950s - HTF

$135 USD ReducedREDUCED Metlox Blue Poppytrail Hen on Nest Casserole, 1950s - HTF

Pottery:Metlox:Poppytrail:Hen On Nest
How many times do you see this blue Metlox Poppytrail hen on nest? I have watched for them for the past few years, off and on, and never did see one listed. Most are the multi-colored hens. Well, I have both the large and the smaller blue and white hen on nest listed on Ruby Lane for your perusal. This is the large blue Poppytrail hen on nest casserole. She measures 7 5/8" long x 5" tall and her basketweave base measures 9" long x 3 1/4" wide. The hen sitting on her base measures 7" tall. The ...
Fiesta Bud Vase by Homer Laughlin - 1959, Medium Green

$75 USDFiesta Bud Vase by Homer Laughlin - 1959, Medium Green

Pottery:By Maker:Homer Laughlin Fiesta
These Fiesta bud vases are not only attractive, but they are so nice to have around...not only on display, but to grab when you have a few flowers you've just cut from the garden or flowerbed. Perfect size and they don't take up a lot of room. This bud vase measures 6" tall and is marked Fiesta on the base. I believe you would call this medium green, but it is kind of difficult to tell. It is free of damage. I also have another bud vase listed on Ruby Lane and would be happy to combine for ...
REDUCED Bird House Wall Pocket

$35 USD ReducedREDUCED Bird House Wall Pocket

Pottery:Royal Copley:Wall Pocket
I believe this bird house wall pocket was made by Royal Copley...perhaps American Bisque, in view of the coloring and spray painting used to decorate it. The base has the supporting bars, which several companies used. This piece measures 5 1/4" tall x 5 1/4: wide x 2 3/4" deep. I find no damage. A pair of birds are checking out the premises as a possible hideaway for their brood. What better time of year to put this little wall pocket on your wall and finish it off with some ivy or philodendron ...
REDUCED Pottery Owl Pitcher by American Bisque

$16 USD ReducedREDUCED Pottery Owl Pitcher by American Bisque

Pottery:American Bisque
This owl pitcher is so cute..makes a great display. It was produced by American Bisque and measures 6 1/4" tall and 5" front to handle. It is in fine condition with no damage, but there are tiny bubbles on one cheek from the glazing process. Don't tell anyone, but these make great ivy bowls for rooting new starts in water. At the same time, you can enjoy the ivy sprigs cascading from the top.
REDUCED Metlox Blue Poppytrail Smaller Hen on Nest Casserole, 1950s -- HTF

$36 USD ReducedREDUCED Metlox Blue Poppytrail Smaller Hen on Nest Casserole, 1950s -- HTF

Pottery:Metlox Poppytrail, Metlox Pottery, Metlox Porcelain, Hen On Nest, Hen On Nest Casserole, Blue Poppytrail, Blue Hen On Nest:Metlox:Poppytrail:Hen On Nest
This is the smaller Blue Poppytrail hen on nest by Metlox. The Blue Poppytrail was issued during the 1950s. This little sweetie is a mate to "Momma" which is the larger casserole, of course, and I just happen to have Momma listed on Ruby Lane, as well. They display together so nicely. This hen on nest basketweave base measures 6 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 2" and she measures 5 1/4" with the lid in place. The basketweave base has a hairline crack which has a little discoloration, but is not open. The top ...
Frankoma 22S Planter

$22 USDFrankoma 22S Planter

Pottery:By Maker:Frankoma
This is a nice, substantial planter by Frankoma Pottery of Oklahoma. It is marked 22S, which indicates it is one of the earlier planters, as they changed the mark to 22A after the 1960s, I believe. This planter measures 5 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" tall and is free of damage. The color combination is wonderful with a mix of green, blue and brown. Great combination. I believe this may be called Prairie Green, or some such. I find no damage.
Franciscan "Apple" 9 1/2" Luncheon Plates (2 available)

$18 USDFranciscan "Apple" 9 1/2" Luncheon Plates (2 available)

Pottery:Franciscan Apple
I am listing these two 9 1/2" luncheon plates in the Franciscan "Apple" pattern separately, as they have a different logo than the others I have listed on Ruby Lane. I know there are those who like to purchase certain marks so they have dinnerware that was all made in the same time period. There are two plates available, but this listing is priced per plate. This mark is different from the other luncheon plates I have listed on Ruby Lane. It is "The California Craftsman Since 1875" -- or at ...
REDUCED Van Briggle Parakeet or Budgie Lamp in Turquoise

$125 USD ReducedREDUCED Van Briggle Parakeet or Budgie Lamp in Turquoise

Pottery:Van Briggle Lamp
Van Briggle of Colorado made this lamp for a night stand or dressing table. It has a parakeet (some call it a budgie) sitting on a tree limb. Quite simple in design. I would call the color turquoise. The lamp measures 4" across the base and is 13" to the top of the bulb or 17 3/8" to the top of the harp. It has the original wiring, but of course that is outdated. For safety's sake, I would rewire it, which is not a major task as the base is open. I have my local hardware store rewire my lamps ...
REDUCED Roseville Pottery "Peony" 7 1/2" Pitcher #1326-7 1/2

$270 USD ReducedREDUCED Roseville Pottery "Peony" 7 1/2" Pitcher #1326-7 1/2

Pottery:Roseville:"Peony"
According to the Collector's Encyclopedia of Roseville Pottery, Vol. 2, by Huxford and Nickel (2006 values), pg. 154, this is Roseville's "Peony" pattern of the 1940s. The lovely peony stands out against the blue/green background. When I saw this pitcher (and mugs, which are also listed on Ruby Lane) across the room, I got so excited. I had never seen a pitcher and mug set in Peony before. However, there was a small chip beneath the spout lip. After some research on the Net, I found a reputable ...
Frankoma Pottery of Oklahoma, #42 Gray Vase

$22 USDFrankoma Pottery of Oklahoma, #42 Gray Vase

Pottery:Frankoma
This is one of Frankoma Pottery's more popular vases and the size is probably why. How many times did you pick up 3 carnations or roses and needed a vase a little wider than a rose vase? This is perfect. This vase is marked 43 on the base and is made from the sapulpa clay, I believe. It is solid gray. There are fake handles on the side...just big enough to give a hint of a handle, but not large enough to hold onto. This vase measures 8" tall x 2 1/2" wide. I also have this same vase in a Desert ...
REDUCED Red Wing Salad or Popcorn Bowl, 1950s

$27 USD ReducedREDUCED Red Wing Salad or Popcorn Bowl, 1950s

Pottery:Red Wing:Speckled Bowl
This is a monster salad bowl, and it would make a great master popcorn bowl for that ballgame or family gathering to watch a favorite movie. It is by Red Wing and it doesn't get much better than that! This bowl measures 12" long x 11 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" tall. The base is embossed with the Red Wing U.S.A. identification. There is no damage. It is a light tan or sand color with flecks in what is probably from their casual line. I believe it would fit in with the Bob White, Random Harvest and Town & ...
Frankoma Pottery of Oklahoma, Vase #43, Desert Gold

$26 USDFrankoma Pottery of Oklahoma, Vase #43, Desert Gold

Pottery:Frankoma
This is one of Frankoma Pottery's more popular vases and the size is probably why. How many times did you pick up 3 carnations or roses and needed a vase a little wider than a rose vase? This is perfect. This vase is marked 43 on the base and is made from the sapulpa clay, I believe. The glaze finish is blended beautifully with the lighter and darker colors bringing interest to the piece. There are fake handles on the side...just large enough to give a hint of a handle, but not large enough to ...
REDUCED Red Wing #1359 Stacked Tea Cups Vase, 1949-53

$40 USD ReducedREDUCED Red Wing #1359 Stacked Tea Cups Vase, 1949-53

Pottery:Red Wing:Stacked Tea Cups Vase
Red Wing began operations in 1878 and continued until 1967. During that period, they made some pretty nice pieces and this is one which certainly drew my attention. I don't know if Red Wing actually named it anything more than the line number #1359, but apparently, someone coined it "Stacked Tea Cups" or "Stacking Tea Cups" which I think describes it perfectly. It measures 8" tall and is in white, inside and out. It is free of damage. Since it was only made between 1949-1953, I doubt there are ...
REDUCED Covered Animal Dish, Peking Duck

$42 USD ReducedREDUCED Covered Animal Dish, Peking Duck

Pottery:Covered Animal Dishes:Peking Duck
This covered animal dish was made in China in the 1960s. I believe you would refer to this as a Peking Duck...some type of duck and it was made to be used as a casserole. Since I bought it several years ago, I have yet to find another like it. The base measures 9" long x 7" wide and 3 1/2" high. The top is 8 1/8" long x 6 1/8" wide and 4 5/9" tall or 8" tall when put together. It has no chips, but there are a few tiny air bubbles on the crest which have been glazed over. I used it in my blue and ...
Roseville "Peony" #2-3 1/2 Mug (Green) - 2 Available

$99 USDRoseville "Peony" #2-3 1/2 Mug (Green) - 2 Available

Pottery:Roseville:"Peony"
I am especially drawn to this Roseville green...it was a green that was used a lot in the 40s, which is when the Roseville "Peony" pieces were issued...1942. This green makes the peony "pop" and brings a richness to the design. It measures 3 1/2" tall x 4" wide, including handle. It is free of damage, although there is some crazing, which is not unusual for these pieces. I have two available, but this listing is priced per mug. I also have the matching pitcher listed on Ruby Lane and would be ...
REDUCED A Bit o' Tennessee 4" vase, Hand Painted and Signed

$22 USD ReducedREDUCED A Bit o' Tennessee 4" vase, Hand Painted and Signed

Pottery:Pigeon Forge:Vase
I believe the Bit o' Tennessee pieces were done by the Pigeon Forge company. Pigeon Forge was open from 1947 - 2000 and was also known for their Dogwood pieces on sandy beige pottery. The interior is a lemon green glaze and is clean and fresh looking. This vase measures 4" wide x 3 1/2" tall and is in fine condition. It is signed hand painted, E.H.H., but I don't know who that stands for. It is in fine condition.
Franciscan Apple 10 oz. Tumbler (2 available)

$20 USDFranciscan Apple 10 oz. Tumbler (2 available)

Pottery:Franciscan Apple:Tumbler
"Apple" was one of Franciscan's more popular patterns. It is striking with bold colors and each piece is one of a kind, since it is all hand painted. This listing is for the 10 oz. tumbler. I have two, but this listing is priced per tumbler. It measures 5 1/4" tall and is free of chips, cracks or crazing. The American backstamp is on the base.
Russel Wright Modern/Moderne Granite Gray Divided Veggie Bowl

$65 USDRussel Wright Modern/Moderne Granite Gray Divided Veggie Bowl

Pottery:By Maker:Russel Wright
This lovely piece was made somewhere between 1939-1959 by Steubenville. It is their divided veggie bowl from their Modern/Moderne line and was designed by Russel Wright. This veggie bowl measures a whopping 13 1/2" long x 9 7/8" wide and is free of damage. It is a good example of Russel Wright's innovative designs...much sought after by collectors. NOTE: I have signified freight as the shipping method, as I want to be able to obtain the best shipping method for this piece to save on shipping ...
REDUCED Royal Copley Apple Wall Pocket

$48 USD ReducedREDUCED Royal Copley Apple Wall Pocket

Pottery:Royal Copley:Wall Pocket
I think this wall pocket would be great for rooting ivies. Have you seen some of the neat ivy plants they have with various shapes of leaves? My mother used her wall pockets for rooting plants and it was attractive, but up and out of the way. She either had a green thumb, or they thrived by the spot she chose to hang the wall pocket, as it didn't take them long to sprout enough rooting to transfer to a pot on the windowsill. She gifted a lot of her plants...kind of traded them with friends. ...
REDUCED Excursion Steamer the Delta Queen on the Mississippi River at the Port of Burlington,

$30 USD ReducedREDUCED Excursion Steamer the Delta Queen on the Mississippi River at the Port of Burlington, Iowa

Pottery:Delta Queen Paddlewheel:Excursion Boat:Burlington, Iowa
This 1974 plate was commissioned in honor of the Port of Burlington and the paddlewheelers which used to travel up and down river many years ago. Well, actually...they still do. This is the wonderful Delta Queen, which has provided a most popular and enjoyable trip for many over the years. I believe this will be its last year, unless Congress bends some rules. That would be a great loss, as many people love the gay tunes from the calliope and the mournful sound of their horn...especially, at ...
Franciscan "Apple" Sauce/Berry Bowl (3 available)

$8 USDFranciscan "Apple" Sauce/Berry Bowl (3 available)

Pottery:Franciscan Apple
"Apple" was one of the more successful lines for Franciscan, which was produced from 1940-87. It is easy to see why, as the fully glazed, vivid hand-painted pattern is great. This berry bowl measures 5 1/4" and all are free of chips, cracks or crazing. The California mark is on the base. This listing is priced per bowl. If you purchase more than one, hold for an accurate shipping/insurance fee.
Hull Magnolia Matte 8 1/2" Vase - 1946-47

$125 USDHull Magnolia Matte 8 1/2" Vase - 1946-47

Pottery:By Maker:Hull Pottery
This is a vase with presence. It is Hull's Magnolia Matte 8 1/2" vase which was only made from 1946-47. The coloring is wonderful, gently flowing from pink to blue, and the shape is very unusual with the wing-type extensions flaring out each side. This lovely vase measures 7 7/8" wide x 9" tall x 3 1/4" deep. I find no damage...no chips, no cracks. This vase is marked U.S.A. 1 8 1/2 Hull. NOTE: I have specified "freight" for shipping as this allows me to compute exact shipping and insurance fees ...
Franciscan "Apple" Bread and Butter Plate (6 available)

$5 USDFranciscan "Apple" Bread and Butter Plate (6 available)

Pottery:Franciscan Apple
This "Apple" pattern was a winner for Franciscan and was made from 1940-84. The colors are vibrant and the hand-painting and glazing is great, so that is no surprise that it was so popular. The bread and butter plate measures 6 3/8" wide and can be used for other uses, as well. They are free of chips, cracks or crazing. Although there are 6 available, this listing is priced per plate. If you decide to buy more than one, please hold for a revised invoice for an accurate shipping/insurance cost.
