Vintage Basketweave "Cookies" Cookie Jar Made in Japan

Up for consideration is a Vintage Cookie Jar from Japan. It has a basketweave pattern with a Cookie motif on the front, back & the lid has a cookie finial. It is tan in color & measures approximately 7 1/2" tall with lid. I don't know the maker but it does have a numbered mark of 1K5170.

What a wonderful kitschy jar for the cookie maker in the family. The kids would love to find their cookies hidden in the "cookie" jar.

Condition: Condition: This fabulous cookie jar is free of chips & cracks. The inside is clean & what looks like stains are actually thick glaze. The dark area looks to be brown paint which is under glaze. There is overall light crazing which I only saw after taking it out in the sunlight for a close examination. The lid has a spot of missing paint but is glazed over & there are some small glaze pops.
