1963 Pocket CALENDAR - 'Masser's Motel & Restaurant, Frederick, Maryland'

This is a vintage advertising calendar for Masser's Motel & Restaurant on "Route 40 - 3 Miles West" of Frederick, Md. It is like a miniature chrome postcard. The front has a colour view of this motor court establishment with its colonial-style restaurant and motel rooms. In the foreground is a children's swing set on a freshly-mown lawn. Large advertising signs are visible, including a "Breyers Ice Cream Fountain" hanging one. Classic cars of the 1950s & 1960s eras are parked on the forecourt.

The reverse has the full, 12-month calendar for 1963 (Do you know anyone who was born, married, graduated, etc. in that year?). There are also the location and contact details of the motel and restaurant (e.g. G. L. Dunn, Manager).The old-style telephone number (MO 3-3698) adds to the vintage appeal of this little advertising piece.

This vintage pocket calendar measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" (a little larger than a business card) This little piece of Sixties-era advertising ephemera / memorabilia is in very good condition with few signs of wear.
