This antique, early 1900s post card features a nautical scene in Toronto Harbour near the turn of the 20th Century. The full-colour view is of the dock at the foot of Bay St. on Lake Ontario. Visible are a couple of Toronto Ferry Company boats as well as larger Great Lakes steam ships. A great marine image!

This Valentine & Sons' Publishing Co., Ltd. card was Printed in Great Britain. This divided back "British Manufacture Post Card" is numbered "105788". The reverse is address & inscription-free.

This postally-unused post card is in clean, excellent condition with little attendant signs of age and wear. This piece of Edwardian-era ephemera is eminently suitable for framing or for collection in an album.

It should be of interest to collectors of "Old Toronto" or "Old Ontario" memorabilia .Those with an interest in genealogy who have traced their family's history to this part of the Province of Ontario (Upper Canada prior to 1867) should also appreciate this little relic of the past. It would make a nice gift for the Local History buff or amateur genealogist who has an interest in York County (maritime history in particular).
