Please Peruse Our Profferings Of Primarily Paper Pieces Of The Past - Vintage Ads, Postcards, Prints, Cards, Sheet Music, etc
This late 19th Century chromo card is blank on the reverse and has a blank space at the foot of the obverse. Those spaces would contain the details of the advertiser so this card is a printer's stock card or a salesman's sample.
It measures 2"W x 3 1/2"L (approx.) & is in very good condition with strong, bright colours. Those dimensions are typical of and comparable to a cigarette card or tobacco card. There is little of the attendant signs of wear to this over century-old paper card but it is still a sweet & sentimental image. This piece of Victorian ephemera is eminently suitable for framing.
It should be of interest to collectors of postal memorabilia or to students (young & old!) of postal history. Those with an interest in genealogy who have traced their family's ancestry to Hungary should also appreciate this little relic of the past. It might make a nice gift for the Family History buff or amateur genealogist whose "Old Country" family tree has some Hungarian roots!
Worldwide Postage & Packing is $2.50. Multiple items purchased from SHARP OBJECTS may be combined for shipping purposes.
