This "Tichnor Quality Views" postcard is captioned, on the reverse: "The Friendly City, Rockingham County Court House, Harrisonburg, Va.". Harrisonburg, VA is the county seat of Rockingham County and is located in the Shenandoah Valley.
This circa 1940s era, postally-unused card was published by the Shenandoah Wholesalers, Winchester, Va. and is numbered 68574. It was "Made Only By Tichnor Bros., Inc., Boston, Mass..This vintage linen post card is in clean, excellent condition with strong, bright colours. It is in such a near-pristine state as it is "new", old store stock.
