This full-colour, vintage costume jewelry ad features a selection of pretty Trifari jewellery adorning each letter of the brand name. The pieces are draped or pinned to the capital letters and are presented on a deep red background in a three-dimensional, 'in relief' fashion. The sparkly earrings, necklaces, bracelets and pins are from various collections including the named, Christmas Fern and Gainsborough simulated pearl necklace. The original retail prices of the "Jewelry Designs Copyrighted: Trifari, Krussman & Fishel, Inc." items are included which is an interesting reference for collectors.

Many vintage ads can act as "time capsules", reflecting the styles and sensibilities of a particular era. Christmas ads, perhaps due to the traditional, "family" nature of the holiday, often evoke a stronger sense of nostalgia. They can stir childhood memories of simpler, more sentimental times.
