Please Peruse Our Profferings Of Primarily Paper Pieces Of The Past - Vintage Ads, Postcards, Prints, Cards, Sheet Music, etc
What is particularly interesting about this vibrant, colourful image is the depiction of their formal fashions. Her pale blue dress & matching headband with long white gloves. He's in a stylish tuxedo with a starched white shirt, collar, and waistcoat. Lovers and collectors of vintage clothing should fancy this piece!
This paper fan is a salesman's sample of a range of advertising products that were available to local printers. These pre-printed items are blank on the reverse and also usually have space around the image that would allow a local printer to print the details of a company, business, or retail establishment. Such was the practice with many Victorian Trade Cards.
This antique chromolithograph paper fan measures 9" x 9" (approx.). It is marked, "Copyright E. Nash (a circled H) 983" and would date circa 1900-1910. It is printed on heavy card stock and apart from a small strip of removed tape residue is in excellent condition. There is no handle as this was an item that was probably in a sample book. It is eminently suitable for framing - particularly in a decorative vintage-style frame!
Canada/USA Postage & Packing is $4.00 (Elsewhere to be determined). Multiple items purchased from SHARP OBJECTS may be combined for shipping purposes.
