This is a genuine original magazine advertisement from a 1948 issue of The Saturday Evening Post.

This full-colour, dated General Motors GMC Truck & Coach Division ad features an illustration of a big, green GMC flatbed truck. Steelworkers are using a crane to unload a large I-beam. The ad copy states, "There's a Heavy-Duty GMC for Every Type of Heavy Hauling". This ad has great graphic appeal with a strong, striking image.

Many vintage ads can act as "time capsules", reflecting the styles and sensibilities of a particular era.

This LARGE 1940s advert measures 10 1/4" x 13 3/4" (approx.). The image of this piece of advertising memorabilia / ephemera has been accommodated completely by a large-format scanner. This Forties print ad is in excellent condition and is eminently suitable for framing.
