These are genuine original magazine advertisements from a 1949 issue of Collier's.

This full-colour, vintage Hudson Motor Car Company ad features an artist-signed illustration of a family visit to the circus. The blue, stylish sedan with the long, rounded lines is attracting more attention than the clown, elephant and other 'Big Top' performers.

Or if one prefers, the reverse features an Admiral Television ad for their "New Wonder Set!". The "Big 61" square inch screen TV cost $249.95 - "... the lowest price ever for a full size Television Console".

Many vintage ads can act as "time capsules", reflecting the styles and sensibilities of a particular era.

This LARGE 1940s advert measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" (approx.). The image of this piece of advertising memorabilia / ephemera has been accommodated completely by a large-format scanner. This Forties print ad is in very good condition and is eminently suitable for framing.
