TWO (2) UNUSED Vintage Thanksgiving Greeting CARDS w/ Envelopes ~ c.1940s

This couple of vintage Thanksgiving cards are new old stock (NOS) / old store stock items with their original mailing envelopes.

The first card features comical illustrations of an axe-wielding little boy pilgrim chasing the main course of his intended holiday dinner. The double-panel interior picture depicts a "fowl"-tempered turkey turning the tables - the hunter has become the hunted! The colours of primarily blue, orange and yellow are very bright and vibrant.

The obverse and the sentiment expressed in the interior of this nostalgic, little beauty features the attractive, Art Deco-style script so popular in the 1930s & '40s..

This Forties greetings card has its original mailing envelope. This circa 1940s Made In U.S.A. card is marked "26503". This Thanksgiving Day card is in unused, excellent condition and measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/2"(approx.).

This second card ("Wishing You a Whiz of a Thanksgiving") features an embossed illustration of a cute, little bear "pilgrim" ducking for cover behind a tree stump as arrows go "whizzing" by.

The interior of this nostalgic, little beauty has a picture of the little pilgrim running but still getting it in his "bear behind". The accompanying sentiment reads "...so you'll travel full speed ahead into another, even happier year".

This "Golden Bell" greeting card has its original mailing envelope and paper merchandising tag (w/ "Golden Bell Greetings Ring True" slogan). This circa 1940s "Made In U.S.A." card is marked "0 6353". This Thanksgiving Day card is in unused, excellent condition and measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"(approx.).
