These are genuine original magazine advertisements from a 1939 issue of National Geographic.

The dated, 1930s Coke ad features an illustration of a pretty homemaker taking a break from her housework. The lovely lady in the green-trimmed, yellow day dress protected by a blue gingham full apron is taking "the pause that refreshes... at home" with a bottle of Coca-Cola. The old-fashioned vacuum cleaner is idle by the side of the easy chair. The inset picture shows an interior view of an old refrigerator ("ice box") with a good supply of Coke.

Or if one prefers, the reverse depicts a hunting-themed ad for the 1940 Nash automobile. The vintage car ad entitled, "You Won't be Home Tonight", extols the features of "That New Nash". The motor car boasts a Fourth Speed Forward, an Automatic Overtake, the Weather Eye, and an Arrow Flight Ride. The Gilmore-Yosemite economy winner also has a convertible bed which allows the shotgun-toting hunters to spend the night out in the field.

The vintage ad measures 10" x 6 3/4" (approx.). This back cover advertisement is printed on glossy card stock with the attendant signs of use. This Thirties print ad is in very good condition and is eminently suitable for framing.

Canada/USA Postage & Packing is $3.50 (Elsewhere to be determined). Multiple items purchased from SHARP OBJECTS may be combined for shipping purposes.
