This attractive, antique post card features a central vignette of a snowy country cabin with a lone figure on the road from a ford through a stream. Surrounding the scene are large sprigs of holly with embossed green leaves and red berries. In the upper left corner are two gold bells.
This Edwardian-era postally-used, divided back post card was mailed in 1908 within Seaforth, Ontario from Annie Keohler to Miss Louisa Dietz (c/o John Bulger). There is no postmark as the 1¢ Edward VII stamp is uncancelled.
This piece of Christmas Day-related ephemera / memorabilia is in very good condition with a modicum of attendant signs of age and wear. It would look great framed or displayed as a decorative holiday accent to grace your home.
