Please Peruse Our Profferings Of Primarily Paper Pieces Of The Past - Vintage Ads, Postcards, Prints, Cards, Sheet Music, etc
The reverse reads, "PLANTS - CUT FLOWERS - FLORAL DESIGNS" over the line of, "Greenhouses - Rear 1961 Dufferin St. - KE. 1191".
The old-style telephone number (KEnwood 1191) helps to date this advertising piece and adds to its vintage appeal. Toronto used a 2 Letter-4 Digit combination from the 1920s until the mid-'60s. The old "Kenwood" telephone exchange name was phased out in 1956 when it was merged into the larger "LEnnox" exchange.
This vintage wooden ruler measures...that's it, it measures (well, anything up to six inches)!. This little piece of circa Forties or Fifties-era advertising ephemera is in very good condition with few signs of wear. It has the nice patina of old wood. It should be of particular interest to collectors of old Toronto memorabilia.
Canada/USA Postage & Packing is $3.00 (Elsewhere to be determined). Multiple items purchased from SHARP OBJECTS may be combined for shipping purposes.
