This is a genuine original advertisement from a 1902 issue of The Strand Magazine (famous for introducing the stories of Sherlock Holmes).

This is a charming scene of a little Edwardian-era boy reading a cookbook while his little toddler sister looks on - spoon at the ready! A package of the wheat & malt combination cereal with a china breakfast bowl and milk jug completes the early 1900s picture.

The image area measures 8" x 5 1/2". This antique ad is excellent condition and is eminently suitable for framing.
