Blue Milk Glass Hen Covered Dish. This Hen was made by Vallerysthal Glass in France during the late 1880's. I am sorry my photo doesn't capture the wonderful shade of Vallerysthal Blue. She is sitting on a 6" basket base and is in excellent condition for being over 100 years old. I cannot find any damage. The texture and look of these Vallerysthal Hens is wonderful. She is not signed, but that is not unusual since many of the Vallerysthal Hens are not signed. However there is no mistaking a Vallerysthal Hen since they are so different from any of the others.
