These are two felt Christmas stockings from circa 1940s. They are mounted on thick cardboard with shrink wrap around them. The backing measures 20" wide and 30" long. The first stocking measures 25" from top to bottom. It is all felt with a muslin top. Stenciled on the stocking is Merry Christmas, a picture of Toyland and Santa feeding his reindeer.

Condition: Very Good to excellent. The only flaw is the few missed stitches. Please see picture.

The second stocking is also made of all felt with a muslin top. It measures 19" from top to bottom. It has two bells on the top of the stocking. It has a painted Santa holding a Christmas Tree and "Merry Christmas" under Santa.

Condition: Very Good to excellent.

I have taken several pictures for you to see these wonderful Christmas stocking. Please understand I was fighting the sun when taking these pictures so some of them do have a slight glare. I did not take the stocking out of the shrink wrap. I am describing only what I am seeing. I have no reason to believe that the back would be any different from the front.
