This is an early 1900's oriental velvet rose color tapestry measuring 25" long and 12 1/4" wide (not including fringe). The tapestry was created with different piles of fabric as well as dimensional design at the four corners. The tapestry has an oriental woman with a fan in her hand on either side. The ends of the tapestry are finished with silk fringe with the sides finished in a chaining technique. The rose color along with the muted blues and pinks make for a very interesting design.

Condition: Some fading loss of fringe and small ink dot. Please see picture.

This is an old tapestry that has been lovingly used for many years and those years do show. Because of the condition of this item it will be priced accordingly.
