This sweet unmarked child doll is an early Kestner doll circa 1880. She measures just 20" tall. What a great cabinet size! She has a bisque socket head with a blonde mohair wig, finely painted feathered brows, upper and lower lashes, great molding around her open/close eyes, open mouth with prominent philtrum, sweet ruby lips, great dimple in her chin with a pale complexion very much like the French dolls that Kestner was trying to copy at the time.
