This vintage black mesh lace beaded trim, circa 1920's measures 4 1/2" across and I stopped measuring it at 44" long. The black mesh lace with black jet beads has a wonderful flower design with great detail. How rare an item to find in such great condition. These two large pieces of beaded trim measure approximately 8 1/2" long, 2 3/4" wide at the widest point and 5" long and 2 3/4" wide. They are made in or around 1920 from white and crystal beading. This group of three vintage pieces of beading starts with a bird that measures 6 1/8" from wing to wing and 3" long at the longest point. It has some wonderful tiny turquoise, white, gray and black beading with some metallic fringe at the wings. This item is being sold for the beading you can get out of it. Not for the applique. This early beaded handmade flower measures 3 1/2" long and 3 1/2" wide at the widest point and is made up of tiny white luster beads, clear turquoise and green beads strung onto very thin wire bound at the end with green tape. This vintage jet black beading actually weighs 1 pound. There is one 56" long strand of very fragile beading with a second strand that is 38" long. The beading is 4" wide from top to bottom. As you can see there is a wonderful criss cross pattern along the top with the double string of beading intermittently placed. Condition: Very delicate.
