This lovely old Delft covered urn or ginger jar bears one of the traditional Delft floral motifs hand-painted in shades of blue and white. The body and lid are gently ribbed giving the piece a subtly undulating appearance. It measures 8” tall and 4 ½” in diameter at its widest point. It is clearly marked on the base with the words, DELFTS, HOLLAND, HANDPAINTED with a stylized crown maker’s mark. I have not been able to locate the pottery to whom this mark belongs. If you happen to know this maker, I would love to hear from you, so please feel free to email me. This urn is in superb condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, etc; in other words, it’s in pristine condition. Shipping weight: 3 lb. 2 oz. (Location: GRD)
