I am very pleased to offer this stunning vase depicting Calla Lilies in shades of aqua, orange, deep gold, green, and cream on a cobalt blue background. The vase is shaped as a rounded octagon, standing 9 3/4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter at its widest point. It dates to either the 1920's or possibly early 30's. I have tried to narrow down the artist for you, but have had no luck. It is signed on the base simply with the letters "MEX". If someone out there recognizes whose work this might be, please email me as I'd love to know who made this gorgeous vase! This is in superb condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, etc. There is a "dent" in the rim (see photo #4), but it occurred during manufacture as it is glazed over. There is also gentle crazing appropriate to its age, but it is not at all disfiguring. Shipping weight: 3 lb. 3 oz. (Location: C5)
